Angela Downey

Angela Downey is an assistant coach for the women’s basketball program at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ), where she works alongside Head Coach Chessie Jackson and the rest of the coaching staff in developing student-athletes and contributing to the overall success of the Lions’ program. Prior to her coaching role at TCNJ, Downey’s background includes a playing career as a collegiate women’s basketball player. She competed most recently at Manhattanville College as a graduate student, appearing in games and contributing to the team’s performance, and previously played at Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham, where she was a guard and produced notable statistics over multiple seasons.
