Andy Roland is the associate head coach for women's tennis at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, a position he has held since October 2018 after eight seasons as an assistant coach. He entered his 17th season on the Wake Forest staff in 2026-27, continuing a long partnership with head coach Jeff Wyshner that began in 2008 at the University of Akron.
Roland has been part of Wake Forest's return to national relevance. Working with Wyshner, he helped the program earn nine straight NCAA Tournament appearances from 2016 through 2025, with no tournament held in spring 2020. Over that broader run, Wake Forest posted double-digit victories in 12 consecutive seasons outside the COVID-shortened year, twice won at least 20 matches, and regularly finished ranked among the nation's top 25 teams.
