Andrew Llewellyn is an assistant coach and assistant recruiting coordinator for VCU baseball in Richmond, Virginia, and enters his sixth season on the Rams staff. Promoted in summer 2024 under head coach Sean Thompson, he works in recruiting, oversees VCU's youth and prospect camps, directs catcher development, handles in-game defensive positioning, and assists with hitters.
Llewellyn spent four seasons as a volunteer assistant before moving into a full-time assistant role, and he was part of a staff that helped VCU win the 2023 Atlantic 10 championship and reach the NCAA Tournament. That team also produced three selections in the 2023 MLB Draft. Beginning with his time as volunteer assistant in 2021, the Rams captured consecutive Atlantic 10 titles, earned wins in the 2021 Starkville Regional and 2022 Chapel Hill Regional, and went 80-36 across those two seasons.
