A longtime contributor to the university’s athletic department, LeBlanc is in his 23rd year at Seton Hall overall. He first joined the Pirate community as a student-athlete from 2000 to 2004, competing primarily in mid-distance freestyle, backstroke, and butterfly events. He served on the staff during the men’s program’s first BIG EAST Championship in 2017 and its repeat title in 2018. During that span, the coaching staff earned multiple BIG EAST Coaching Staff of the Year honors. In addition to his collegiate coaching responsibilities, LeBlanc serves as a professor in Seton Hall’s psychology department and is actively involved in club swimming as a lead coach for National and Senior groups at the Summit Area YMCA. Originally from Massachusetts, he has also coached at the YMCA of the North Shore in Beverly and remains closely connected to the sport at multiple levels.
