Andrew Gerard is the head coach of George Mason University's men's and women's track and field and cross country programs in Fairfax, Virginia. He took over the program in 2005 and is in his 20th season at George Mason, bringing more than 33 years of collegiate coaching experience to the position.
Since George Mason joined the Atlantic 10 in 2013-14, Gerard has directed one of the conference's most successful programs. The Patriots have won 12 A-10 team championships under his leadership, including titles in men's cross country, men's indoor track and field, women's indoor track and field, men's outdoor track and field, and women's outdoor track and field. He has also earned 13 Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year awards across men's and women's indoor track, outdoor track, and cross country.
