Andre Jurko is an assistant coach for the University of Delaware women's basketball program in Newark, Delaware, joining the staff in June 2026. He arrived after 10 years of Division I coaching experience, most recently spending three seasons as an assistant women's basketball coach at Fordham. There, he oversaw the offense, handled scouting and player development responsibilities, helped bring in more than 15 transfer portal additions, built international recruiting connections, and worked with three players who went on to play professionally.
Before Fordham, Jurko spent one season at Northeastern, where the Huskies earned a share of the first regular-season conference title in program history, set a program record for wins, and collected five postseason awards. He also coached three all-conference players and assisted two who later reached the professional level. Earlier, he spent six years at UNC Asheville, including four as an assistant coach after two seasons as director of basketball operations. During that span, the Bulldogs won a Big South championship in 2017, finished as conference runner-up in 2018, and later made two WBIT postseason appearances. Jurko also coached at Sagemont High School from 2014 to 2016. A Weston, Florida, native, he was a women's basketball practice player at Florida State before earning a bachelor's degree in sport management from the University of Florida in 2016.
