Andre Bolton is the associate head coach and director of player development for the George Mason University women's basketball team in Fairfax, Virginia, a position he has held since 2021. Since joining the staff, he has been part of a major turnaround for the program, including George Mason's first Atlantic 10 Championship and first NCAA Tournament appearance. Over that span, the Patriots moved from three overall wins and no conference victories to setting program standards for wins, conference success, and national visibility.
Before arriving at George Mason, Bolton spent four seasons as an assistant coach at Georgetown, where the Hoyas reached the WNIT twice and made back-to-back BIG EAST Tournament semifinal appearances. He coached four All-BIG EAST selections there, including 2018 BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year Dionna White and Most Improved Player Cynthia Petke, and he was chosen for the NCAA Minority Coaching Series in partnership with the WBCA. Earlier, he worked five seasons at Bethune-Cookman under Vanessa Blair-Lewis, where the Wildcats earned consecutive WNIT berths, won a MEAC regular season title, and received MEAC Coaching Staff of the Year honors. He also helped coach four All-MEAC honorees, including Defensive Player of the Year Kailyn Williams.
