Amir Alkhafaji has served as Director of Player Development for Fordham University women's tennis in Bronx, New York, since September 2025. Before joining Fordham, he was a student assistant coach at George Mason University from 2020 to 2022, where he worked with student-athletes on training plans, practice sessions, technique, conditioning, and match preparation.
Alkhafaji also has coaching experience with junior and adult players through positions at Fairfax Country Club, A-Plus Tennis Academy, and Springfield Golf and Country Club. A former four-year member of the George Mason men's tennis team, he earned a bachelor's degree in biology in 2019 and a master's degree in biology in 2021.
