Amaya West is an assistant coach for the Quinnipiac University women's basketball program in Hamden, Connecticut, joining Roman Owen's staff before the 2026-27 season.
West arrived at Quinnipiac after spending the previous season at UNLV as the Lady Rebels' video coordinator under Owen. At UNLV, she handled postgame and scouting video analysis, filmed and coded games and practices, and managed film, highlight, and photo materials used in recruiting. The Lady Rebels finished that season with a 21-11 record and placed second in the Mountain West Conference.
