Alrick Munroe is the Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator for San Diego State Women's Cross Country/Track & Field, working primarily with sprints, hurdles, and the 800 meters. He joined the Aztecs as a volunteer in 2013-14 and was promoted to assistant coach in 2018, bringing more than 20 years of track and field coaching experience to the program.
Munroe has helped SDSU win five Mountain West team titles, produce multiple school records, and send several 4x400-meter relay teams to the NCAA Championships. His athletes have earned all-conference honors and NCAA postseason berths, and his background includes Jamaican sprint training, 13 seasons at McDonogh School, seven individual NAIA national titles as a Wayland Baptist athlete, induction into Wayland Baptist's Hall of Honor, and four years of service in the U.S. Navy.
