Ally Mooney is an assistant coach for the University of Delaware field hockey program in Newark, Delaware, and began the position in 2025 after being hired in April of that year.
Mooney arrived at Delaware after three seasons on the staff at Shippensburg, where she worked under head coach Kelsey Zollinger and handled defensive responsibilities. Shippensburg's defense led the nation in goals-against average at 0.80 and in scoring margin at +2.71, and also ranked third nationally in shutouts per game. She also worked closely with the Raiders' goalkeepers, including Emma Albee, who posted the top save percentage in NCAA Division II at .821 as Shippensburg reached the PSAC championship game and the NCAA Division II semifinals in 2023.
