Alex Norden has served as The James R. Maher Head Ski Coach at Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, since August 2022, leading the school's skiing program. She arrived at Boston College after two years as head women's alpine ski coach at Gould Academy in Bethel, Maine, and four seasons as head alpine ski coach at Brown University.
At Brown, Norden was a two-time USCSA MacConnell Division Coach of the Year and coached five USCSA All-Americans from 2016 to 2020. She also handled conference leadership duties as the MacConnell Division's board chair and treasurer, overseeing race scheduling and the annual budget. Earlier in her career, she was head alpine ski coach at New England College, where she returned the program to varsity status in 2016, and spent three years at St. Lawrence University as a graduate assistant and strength and conditioning coach for the alpine ski team.
