Assistant Golf Coach
Alex Naumovski enters her third season as the assistant coach for both the men’s and women’s golf programs at Flagler College. She joined the Saints after serving as a graduate assistant for the golf teams at Lee University, where she played a key role in elevating the program’s competitive profile. During the 2023-24 season, she was honored as the national Division II Golf Pride WGCA Assistant Coach of the Year, acknowledging her contributions to the women’s team reaching the national championships and finishing first in the stroke-play portion.
Her competitive playing career includes two years at Seminole State College of Florida, where she earned NJCAA All-American recognition in 2017 and 2018. Afterward she transferred to Coastal Carolina University, completing her bachelor’s in sports communication, and then wrapped up her collegiate career at Lee University—earning All-GSC first team honors, All-South Region distinction, and NCAA Division II All-America honors with a program-record scoring average of 74.1. At Flagler, Naumovski leverages her experience as a high-level competitor and coach to mentor golfers in technique, competition preparation, and mental approach. Her dual role also includes supporting recruitment efforts, assisting with tournament and practice operations, and collaborating closely with the head coach to maintain program continuity and growth.
