Alex Balog is the associate head coach for Villanova University men's soccer in Villanova, Pennsylvania. He joined the Wildcats' staff in April 2019 after spending six seasons as the head coach at Montana State Billings, where he previously worked for two years as an assistant.
At Montana State Billings, Balog led the program to a 9-6-3 record in 2016 and was named Great Northwest Athletic Conference Co-Coach of the Year in 2017. Before his time there, he was an assistant coach at Auburn University Montgomery from 2009 to 2010. While in Alabama, he also coached in the Olympic Development Program, served as director of goalkeeping for FC Torjager in Montgomery, and was a head coach at Lamp High School.
