Alex Aust Holman serves as an assistant coach for the University of Maryland women's lacrosse program in College Park, Maryland. She returned to Maryland as a volunteer assistant coach for the 2023 season and was later hired as the program's director of player development.
Aust is one of the most accomplished players in program history. She played for the Terrapins from 2010 to 2013, helped Maryland win the 2010 national championship, and finished her career with 132 assists and 275 points, ranking second in school history in assists and ninth in points at the time cited in the source. In 2013, she recorded 55 assists, the second-highest single-season total by a Maryland player, and was named a Tewaaraton Award finalist. She was also the 2013 National Attacker of the Year and a two-time All-American.
