Adrian Leiser joined the Eastern Washington University women’s volleyball staff in April 2025 as an assistant coach under head coach Jon Haruguchi. He brings a well-rounded background in collegiate volleyball, with experience spanning multiple programs in the Pacific Northwest and Big Sky Conference. At Eastern Washington, Leiser works closely with position groups, particularly focusing on middle blockers and technical skill development, while contributing to the program’s broader goals of competing for conference championships and building a cohesive team culture.
Prior to joining Eastern, Leiser spent the 2024 season at Seattle University, where he worked primarily with middle blockers and defensive schemes. Before that, he served as an assistant coach and director of operations at Gonzaga University, handling responsibilities that included statistical analysis, technical coordination, and player development for both middles and passers. His earlier experience includes a two-year stint as a volunteer assistant at Weber State, where he was part of a highly successful program that won multiple Big Sky titles and achieved its first NCAA Tournament victory. A native of Minnesota, Leiser holds a degree in mass communications from the University of Utah and has also worked in sports broadcasting, including as a radio producer for the Utah Jazz, bringing a diverse skill set to his coaching career.
