Adam Steinberg
Head Coach
Adam Steinberg was named the 11th Head Coach of the Florida Gators men’s tennis program on June 23, 2023, after nine seasons at the helm of the Michigan men’s tennis team. University of Michigan Athletics Over his long career (32 seasons as a Division I head coach), he has amassed a record of 582-287 (.711). His prior stops include Pepperdine (where he won the 2006 NCAA Championship), Alabama, and St. John’s.
In his first two seasons at Florida (2023-2025), Steinberg has focused on building a “championship culture,” emphasizing team cohesion, intensity in practice, and competitiveness in tight matches. As of mid-2025, his record at Florida stood at about 28-24.
