Adam Schneider is the head coach of the Stevens Institute of Technology men’s and women’s swimming and diving programs in Hoboken, New Jersey. He joined the Stevens coaching staff in July 2019 as an assistant coach under Head Coach Paul Hughes and has since been elevated to lead the program. During that season, six Redlands swimmers earned All-SCIAC recognition, and senior Wendy McAleer reached the NCAA Division III Championships in three events.
Prior to his time in California, Schneider spent four seasons on the swimming staff at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ), where he served as a recruiting coordinator in addition to his coaching duties. While with the Lions, he coached two national championship-winning relay teams, helped 12 swimmers earn individual All-America honors, and nine relay squads achieve top-eight national finishes. A native of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Schneider was a standout swimmer at TCNJ, earning 14 All-American honors as an undergraduate, was named New Jersey Athletic Conference Swimmer of the Year in 2013, and captured Rookie of the Year honors in 2010. Beyond collegiate coaching, he has also coached with the Eastern Express Swim Club and Greater Philadelphia Area Aquatic Club. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from TCNJ.
