Adam Hood

Adam Hood joined UCF men’s basketball in May 2024 as an assistant coach. In his first season, he helped the Knights improve free throw shooting to 77.5% (24th nationally) and reach the College Basketball Crown title game. He previously spent eight seasons at UTSA, plus coaching stops at Columbia and Boston University. A Mesquite, Texas native, Hood is also a U.S. Air Force Academy graduate and former commissioned officer with five years of service.
