Abby Rehfuss joined the Penn State Women’s Lacrosse coaching staff as the Associate Head Coach on June 6, 2025. During her first year at the helm of the Nittany Lion defense in 2026, Rehfuss’ unit was one of the best in the Big Ten. Penn State’s defensive unit ranked third in scoring defense throughout the 2026 season, holding teams to 10.05 goals on average, with the goalies seeing even more impressive improvement, with a 49.7% save rate.
