Abbie Fredrick serves as Assistant Coach - Distance for Oklahoma State University's Track and Field program in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Fredrick joined the OSU staff an assistant coach in 2024 specializing in middle and long distance. Fredrick came to Stillwater from Baylor, where she served as an assistant distance coach for the two seasons.
In her first season with the Cowgirls, the OSU women won the NCAA Midwest Regional title in cross country by 15 points with 61 overall, with four Cowgirls being named to the All-Region team. She also coached freshman Isca Chelangat to runner-up honors at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships in the 5,000 Meters before going onto the national meet, where she was a second team All-American. In just her first season at Baylor, Fredrick assisted the distance squad to three individual all-region finishes at the NCAA South Central Regional with both teams in the top 10. Staying stellar in the classroom, Ellie Hodge, Ryan Hodge and Drew Snyder also were recognized as All-Academic with the USTFCCCA for cross country and both teams were also recognized.
