Aaron Leeds is the assistant coach and defensive coordinator for Sacred Heart men’s lacrosse in Fairfield, Connecticut. He joined the program in September 2024 after spending two seasons on the Brown men’s lacrosse staff. At Brown, Leeds worked with five All-Ivy selections and two USILA Scholar All-Americans, bringing experience from a high-level Ivy League program into his role with the Pioneers. Before arriving at Sacred Heart, Leeds built his coaching résumé through several college stops. After his playing career, he spent one season as an assistant coach at Ferrum College and then served two seasons as an assistant at RPI in Troy, New York.
In 2020, he returned to Salisbury as a graduate assistant coach and helped the Sea Gulls win back-to-back Coast-to-Coast Conference championships. Salisbury also advanced to the 2021 national championship game during his time on staff. He completed a master of education in post-secondary education at Salisbury in 2022. Leeds was also a standout player at Salisbury, where he was a four-year member of the program and graduated in 2017 with a degree in exercise science. As a senior captain in 2017, he helped lead the Sea Gulls to their second consecutive national championship and earned both all-conference and All-America honors as a defenseman. His background combines championship experience as both a player and coach, with a particular emphasis on defensive development.
