Aaron Brunner is the head coach of the George Mason women's soccer program in Fairfax, Virginia, a position he assumed after being hired on December 20, 2023.
A Virginia native with nearly 25 years of coaching experience, Brunner arrived at George Mason after two seasons on the Florida State staff in 2022 and 2023. He was part of the Seminoles' 2023 coaching staff that earned United Soccer Coaches Coaching Staff of the Year honors as Florida State won its fourth national championship and completed the first undefeated season in program history. Over his two seasons there, Florida State went 39-3-4, won two ACC regular-season titles and two ACC Tournament championships, reached the College Cup twice, and captured the 2023 NCAA title. In 2022, he was also part of an Atlantic Region Staff of the Year group when the Seminoles finished 17-3-3 and returned to the College Cup.
