My name is Will Rivera, and I am a 22-year-old redshirt senior at Pfeiffer University. I am from Round Rock, Texas, where I attended and played lacrosse at Round Rock High School. In 2021, I made the incredible decision to commit to playing Division II lacrosse at Limestone University in Gaffney, South Carolina. I had the best, most memorable 4 years at Limestone, where I really grew and developed as a person and a teammate in an environment that I called home. While at LU, I played international box lacrosse for Team Puerto Rico in the 2024 World Games. Because of this amazing experience, I now have aspirations of qualifying for the 2028 Olympics. Unfortunately, in May 2025, Limestone officially closed, which impacted me greatly, as struggling to leave my home affected my mental health journey. I am very proud of the impact that I left at LU, being a Morgan’s Message ambassador for 4 years as well as receiving the Paul Casey Award. I am now looking forward to representing Pfeiffer this coming spring and continuing to advocate for athletes' mental health.
