Janine Tucker is one of the most prominent figures in USA women’s lacrosse. The all-time winningest coach of the Johns Hopkins Women’s Lacrosse team for 29 years, she mentored countless players across the nation and made a positive, lasting impact on the game.

In November of 2021, Janine received the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association’s marquee honor, the Diane Geppi-Aikens Memorial Award This award is named in honor of the legendary Loyola coach whose courageous battle with cancer inspired the nation and recognizes lifetime achievement to the women’s college game

Since retiring from collegiate coaching at Hopkins in 2022, you can find Janine frequently appearing as a guest coach or guest speaker at numerous lacrosse clinics, camps, workshops, and coaching seminars.

Janine is dedicated to mentoring, inspiring, guiding, and empowering people through sports and sharing the life lessons it teaches.  She has written 7 books on the subject:

In her long and decorated career, she’s built relationships with players, coaches and athletic directors in multiple sports, and she brings her experience and network to ISNation, as our Director of Sport.
