Train your mind for confidence under pressure.
An online mental performance course: nine short lessons and practical worksheets that build the same mental training habits used by Olympic and professional athletes.

You can put in all the physical work—practice consistently, train hard, and know exactly what you are supposed to do—and still struggle to access that ability when the pressure is on.
You perform well in practice, but become nervous, tense, or hesitant in competition. One mistake throws off the rest of your game. You overthink, lose confidence, or put so much pressure on yourself to perform well that it becomes harder to trust your training.
These struggles are incredibly common, but they do not have to continue.
Prepare to Perform is an online mental performance training course designed to help athletes build confidence, manage performance anxiety, control their focus, and perform more consistently under pressure.

I have spent more than 15 years coaching Olympic and professional athletes, elite competitors, student-athletes, executives, and other high performers. The tools I teach in this course are the same practical mental training tools I use with the athletes I coach. They are simple, research-backed, and designed to be used immediately in practices, games, competitions, and tryouts.

By the end of the course, athletes will have their own Mental Workout—a short routine they can complete before practices and competitions to prepare their minds with the same consistency they prepare their bodies.
Athletes who perform well in practice but struggle to compete with the same confidence
Athletes who feel nervous, tense, sick, or overwhelmed before games or competitions
Athletes who overthink their performance or become distracted by the outcome
Athletes who have difficulty recovering after mistakes
Athletes who know the mental side of the game is crucial, but don't know how to work on it
Athletes who are ready to elevate their game to the next level
The goal is not to eliminate every nervous feeling, negative thought, or mistake. That is not realistic.
The goal is to teach athletes how to respond more effectively when those things happen—so they can calm their bodies, control their focus, trust their training, and perform closer to their potential.
The physical work matters. But athletes also need to train the mind that controls the body.

Dr. Ellen Reed helped me adopt the competitive mindset to apply both on and off the field. The Mental Workout challenges me to focus on solutions, continually improve, and build the confidence I need to perform at a high level.
Ellen made my daughter a rock star when it comes to mental toughness. Even the announcers at her events comment on how calm she is under pressure.
Ellen helped me simplify and strengthen my mental game so I could become a more confident, resilient athlete. When everything was on the line and the pressure was high, I had the mental tools to stay focused and execute.
My son has gotten so much out of working with Ellen. He comes away feeling happier, more confident, and better equipped to handle the mental side of his sport.
Ellen's methods have given my daughter tremendous confidence. The Mental Workout has been incredibly effective, and working with Ellen has helped her clear her mind, relieve stress, and feel more confident navigating the mental challenges of her sport.
As a student-athlete, I was overwhelmed, stressed, and struggling with confidence—and my performance wasn't reflecting the work I was putting in. Ellen taught me that success lies in the day-to-day process, not just the end result, and gave me the tools to develop true mental toughness. I became a happier, more confident athlete and started seeing the results of my hard work.
My son is getting so much out of working with Ellen. He told me how helpful the mental training has been. He is smart and athletic, but sometimes getting the mind and body working together can be tough—and this has really helped.
Since my son started working with Ellen, we've seen a huge difference—not only in his performance, but in his attitude. The people closest to him have noticed the change, too.
I cannot thank Dr. Reed enough for the positive impact she has had on my son. My son was struggling with his confidence at the plate as he made the transition to player pitch. He was also having difficulty managing his emotions across various sports when things weren't going his way.
Dr. Reed was able to give him practical strategies for self-evaluation and mental preparation that made a tremendous difference. Not only did his confidence improve, but we also saw a significant positive change in his attitude, emotional control, and resilience on the field.
The skills and strategies she has taught him have carried over well beyond baseball and have positively influenced his approach to all of his athletic endeavors. I would highly recommend Dr. Reed to any young athlete looking to build confidence, develop mental toughness, and learn how to better handle the challenges that come with competition.
